Have you ever paused to look at a particularly colorful leaf? Or stopped to marvel at an acorn? During "Tiny Wonders: Mindful Nature Photography," lead by Lindsey Dalton, we will focus on the little things in nature...a tiny moth, a small fall bloom,
an interesting mushroom, and, if we're lucky, a tiny Spring Peeper. We will then explore and capture these tiny wonders using photography.
Whatever camera you have access to is welcome- cell phones are fantastic for capturing the little things in nature! The focus here isn't on perfect photography, but on the process of discovering little marvels while being present in nature.
As we explore, we will hike at a slow pace on a relatively flat woodland trail in a sugar maple forest. We will give everyone some time to explore and make their own discoveries before meeting back and sharing our own tiny wonders with the group.
